Ed Magee is the executive-in-residence for the Jack C. Massey College of Business at Belmont University. With more than 30 years of experience in operations, supply chain management and executive leadership, Magee brings a wealth of industry knowledge to his role at Belmont. Prior to joining Belmont, Magee served as executive vice president of operations at Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, where he led global manufacturing, supply chain, distribution and quality functions. His leadership at Fender was instrumental in driving operational excellence and supporting the company’s growth.Magee’s career also includes significant roles at Harley-Davidson Motor Company, where he held various leadership positions in operations and supply chain management. He began his professional journey as a logistics officer in the United States Marine Corps, serving for more than a decade and achieving the rank of major.Magee holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is passionate about mentoring the next generation of business leaders and is committed to fostering diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace.At Belmont, Magee leverages his extensive experience to support students and faculty, providing insights into real-world business challenges and opportunities.
